Arts & Crafts Era Early Solid Oak Bank Deposit Counter

Very unique piece! Looks to be an early American piece (Arts & Craft era) that probably was in a bank, and is solid oak.  The top ledge has slotted sections (for deposit slips etc..). It probably had a marble, slate, or glass top previously, but still looks cool without it. Shows some wear from age & use (cup rings, wood chips etc...) but is a fantastic well-made piece.
