Mid-Century Modern Bramin Danish Solid Teak Low Coffee or End Table

Not really sure what this piece was made for; could be a very low coffee or end table or maybe it had a cushion on it at some point possibly a foot stool & had a cushion on top? Could be used many ways. It's in great condition showing light wear (a few finish wear spots & small chips).  Marked "Bramin, Denmark".
